This P2HD recorder supports today’s network-based workflow while interfacing with conventional broadcast systems. It’s the first recorder to provide microP2 card slots to dramatically reduce media costs, together with ordinary P2 card slots. Recording codecs from the AVC-ULTRA*1 family include AVC-Intra100/50 and AVC-LongG, which appears for the first time in this model, ensure high-quality images and low-bit-rate (50/25/12*2/6*2 Mbps) operation. Lower-rate AVC-Proxy*3 recording enables previewing, metadata input, and playlist editing*2 over a network.
