The new professional LCD monitors of the DT-V series for video production meet the requirements of EBU class 2 in terms of color space , gamma and grayscale. They provide accurate reproduction of color and HD quality images , so necessary for broadcasters.

Top models: DT-V17G25 and DT-V24G2 , each equipped with a 10-bit IPS LCD panel that exceeds the EBU requirements of the 2nd class in some respects. Monitors meet all the requirements for a range of brightness and color temperature. The two most important factors: gamma and grayscale , have also been improved in comparison with the previous models , to meet the needs and demands of professional studio applications for video processing.

The 10-bit IPS panel of the monitor has a very wide viewing angle , with excellent chromatic aberration characteristics , and a 10-bit video processor provides improved shades of color and gradation of gray. The contrast ratio of 1500: 1 and the brightness of 300/450 cd / m2 ( depending on the model) is provided by reliable and energy-efficient LED backlighting.

3G HD-SDI inputs including DUAL LINK
In addition to standard support for HD-SDI , the monitor has a 3G HD-SDI interface to display 1080p ( uncompressed digital video data) with a data transfer rate of up to 3 Gb / s. Supported 3G-SDI signals: 3G A-1 to A-4 ( Level , A mapping structure from 1 to 4), and 3G B & B DS1-DS2 Level B data stream 1 and 2 , and 3G B-DUAL Level B DUAL LINK.

Screen Functions
DT-V monitors have a built-in oscilloscope / vector waveform and histogram , where you can display the values ​​of color saturation , brightness and input signals. There is a 16-channel volume level indicator , with a peak status and a common value for each channel. The Lissajous figures were added to the audio indicator to represent the phase difference and amplitude control. This ‘screen’ function is important for professional video studios and for post-processing .

Two other models of the series: DT-V17G2 and DT-V21G2 , also have the functions described above , including processing a 10-bit signal , but differ in that they have an LCD panel with an 8-bit color depth.
